In order to ensure the best alteration experience, Brides & Beyond is ready to connect you with our in-house preferred seamstress so your dress fits perfectly.
Please note that the seamstress listed below is independent of Brides & Beyond. She is "on-site", but works like an independent contractor who we trust with all our dresses. She offers her services to those who purchase dresses Brides & Beyond.

All alterations scheduling and payment is done through the independent tailoring department located within the building.
Brides & Beyond only houses the alterations department, it is run privately and independently of the bridal shop.

How do I schedule an alterations appointment?

All alterations scheduling is done directly with our seamstress via her personal lines of communication. All alterations fees and payments go directly to the seamstress who does your work and cash and check are the forms of payment that are accepted.
When should I start my alterations?
We recommend first fittings to begin 12-14 weeks prior to the wedding for bridal gowns and 6-8 weeks for non-bridal. Scheduling 3 months prior to desired appointment is highly encouraged!
How long does it take to alter a dress?
We require 6 weeks between first and second fittings for bridal gowns, and 4 weeks between first and second fittings for non-bridal. Anything less than that, may result in a rush fee. Scheduling a second fitting in advance is highly encouraged!
